Dear colleagues,

this is a heads-up concerning the next GPS week rollover which will occur during the night from April 6-7 2019. The rollover occurs every 19.7 years and
unfortunately will happen just in the middle of the upcoming GMVA session.
You can find more details under:
 https://www.gps.gov/cgsic/meetings/2017/powers.pdf <https://www.gps.gov/cgsic/meetings/2017/powers.pdf>
 https://www.gps-repeaters.com/blog/gps-week-number-rollover-april-6th-2019/ <https://www.gps-repeaters.com/blog/gps-week-number-rollover-april-6th-2019/>

Most (modern) GPS receivers should be able to cope with the rollover, however with some units we might expect problems of
incorrect dates etc. You might want to check whether your station receiver is ICD-200 compliant. In any case stations should
pay attention to the GPS unit at the time of the rollover and be prepared to manually solve any problems should they occur.

Thanks to Juan Penalver (IRAM) for bringing this up.

Regards,
Helge
