Dear colleagues,
I hope all of your are well and have managed to manoeuvre through these strange times and have stayed healthy.
Despite all of the difficulties most sites of the GMVA have managed to keep up operations at least in a limited way so
that we can carry out the GMVA session I of 2020. Thanks to everyone for that!
As ususal there is a dedicated slack channel for communicating during the session: #C201.
It can be accessed through the browser under the following link:
https://gmva-team.slack.com/archives/C0120GDL4A2 <https://gmva-team.slack.com/archives/C0120GDL4A2>
and of course also through the slack desktop application.
Please distribute this email to everyone at your station that is not on this mailing list but will be doing observation shifts.
Since some stations are operating in „emergency mode“ communication will be more important than ever to help staff
in finding and fixing issues.
Yurii will be at the correlator on Thursday to correlate the fringe test and give feedback to the participating stations prior to the
start of the session. Please get in touch with Yurii to coordinate the e-transfer.
All the best and stay healthy!
Helge
